Good Night and Good Luck was a top notch, capital film. 1950's, broadcast journalism, integrity McCarthy, Communism, Liberace, it all makes for a good time. The gist of the movie is this journalist, Edward R. Murrow, calling out Senator McCarthy for his extreme, unjust, communist investigations. The film ended with just the right amount of time under it's belt, it didn't drag on like most movies, or get too emotionally invovled with it's characters. E.R.M's one on one news broadcasts gave me shivers, totally rocked my socks. There were some moments where character's talked over each other so perfectly I just wanted to jump up in accomplishment for George Cloony's excellent directing. The tone of fear and paranoia in the film was so real and well done, it was incredible. Good film.
