Question

If a frog was falling down a direct 90 degree angle cliff or something along those lines, would it be smart enough to try to plant it's suction padded limbs to the side of a rock?

I don't think it works that way.
It might be able to suction itself on if it were at a standstill, but falling at 9.8m/s/s it seems unlikely that it would stick.
